AVL Weaving School

The popular AVL Weaving School has now been in business for over ten years. And our business is you. We want to teach you all about AVL looms and how to use them. But that's not all; we are currently in the process of expanding our course offerings to include special classes on Weave Structure, Color-and-Weave and more.

There's more. Owner Bob Kruger is committed to making the AVL Weaving School better than ever so he has placed a number of AVL Workshop Dobby Looms in the School to augment our A Series, Production Dobby Loom and Folding Dobby Looms.

The Weaving School itself is located on a mezzanine above the AVL Assembly Area, so if you have already ordered your AVL then you may actually get to see it being built. Classes are limited to eight. You will get plenty of individual attention and a loom of your own or at least one to share with one other student.

Another option is to consider having AVL come to you with our Traveling Teacher Program. Choose from the courses on the Traveling Teacher page and we'll tailor it to your group's interests. Gather a group of your weaving friends for a fun and professional class in your own studio.
