All AVL Rug Looms can add automated features found on our Industrial Dobby Looms. Next, they aren’t just wood anymore either. All AVL Professional Dobby Looms are 8 feet wide (2.4 Meters) and wider, using steel cross-members. 12 foot (3.65 Meter) looms and wider (yes we have made them even wider on special order) are all steel. Plus, the cross-members continue to get beefier and beefier as we learn the incredible amount of tension that rug weavers need and demand. Not only was AVL the first company to put a dobby on a rug loom, we now have rug looms with jacquard heads as well.
