Dear Weaving Friends,

My name is Bridget Elmore and I have only been working for AVL Looms for a short while. I'm very excited about my decision to join the AVL Looms sales team. I come to AVL with a background in fine art printmaking and have worked for a number of years within the printing and publishing industry. It's such a wonderful feeling to be working with talented inventive artisans, and to be afforded the opportunity to employ my creative talents once again.

During my first week with AVL, I had the good fortune to experience the Maximizing The Use of Your AVL class. The class was taught by the fabulous Jannie Taylor with assistance from the talented Sue Luna. What a great introduction to this unique and diverse world of weaving! The class allowed me to meet weavers from around the country and to learn about their very different skill levels, as well as, their unique weaving interests. The class was so much fun that it ignited my creative energies, which have been tucked away just waiting for something new to do. I can't wait to develop my first usable pattern, and be able to weave it into something fun and exciting. I know! I know! I'm just a baby when it comes to weaving, and I have a long way to go. But, what fun it will be getting there!

Over the coming months I anticipate meeting many of you, and discovering the wonderful things you are working on. I look forward to learning more about your creative communities of weavers and assisting you with your weaving needs.
